The Riverside Company, a global private investor focused on the smaller end of the middle market, has promoted partner Jeffrey Gordon to managing director and co-fund manager of Riverside Strategic Capital Fund.
Gordon will work with managing partner George Cole to oversee the fund. The RSCF provides non-control capital services to sponsors and entrepreneurs. Prior to the promotion, Gordon joined the firm in 2013 and was named a partner in 2017. While at Riverside, Gordon has led successful RSCF investments in Alcohol Monitoring Systems, Neighborly, Affinity and more.
“This is a logical transition in leadership for RSCF as we begin work on RSCF II and recognize Jeff’s significant contributions to Riverside,” said Cole. “This promotion is a testament to the talent of the RSCF team, representing Riverside’s strength and our unique capabilities.”
