Prospect Partners, a private equity firm that invests in pre-middle market companies, has made a recapitalization investment in Entech, a managed technology and cybersecurity service provider.

Since 2015, Entech has grown from 18 employees to over 80 and boasts a revenue growth of 552 percent. The partnership looks to drive Entech’s growth and expansion efforts, allowing the company to pursue a faster-paced acquisition strategy. Entech will continue to be led by Jake Spanberger, Buddy Martin, David Spire and Jeremy Stakely.

“We believe Entech is uniquely positioned for growth and look forward to supporting management as they continue to scale the company and expand its regional presence,” says Mike McInerney, a director at Prospect Partners.

Focus Investment Banking acted as financial advisor to Entech in this transaction.
