Transact, owned by Reverence Capital Partners and a provider of innovative credential and payment services for a connected campus, has hired two new VPs.

As private equity firms focus increasingly on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), Transact has appointed Mechelle King as vice president for inclusion, diversity, and engagement. King brings the firm nearly 30 years of human resources expertise with experience within technology, healthcare and financial services sectors.

King will help guide the firm’s DEI policies and programs internally while also playing a key role in growing impactful client outreach and engagement programs. King’s work will support the 500+ Transact team and its 1,750 clients.

Additionally, Transact has appointed Rasheed Behrooznia as vice president for Campus ID solutions. Behrooznia brings over 20 years of engineering, technology and product development experience. Going forward, Behrooznia will oversee the vision, strategy and execution for the firm’s suite of Campus ID services.
