Journey Health & Lifestyle Brands Inc., a provider of products and services to help seniors with mobility, comfort, sleep and safety, has purchased LifeWalker Mobility Products, the manufacturer and distributor of the UpWalker family of products.
UpWalker is a clinically tested, ISO-certified and FDA-registered upright walker with a patented balance center of gravity design. LifeWalker aims to expand the Journey portfolio of products by adding the upright walker in the healthcare market. The deal also works to further the growth of the Journey Health & Lifestyle platform, concurrent with the acquisition of FirstStreet. The acquisition, and additional growth capital for the combined companies, was provided by Peloton Equity and other existing investors in Journey, including Escalate Capital.
