Canidae, a pet food company and backed by L Catterton and Nexus Capital Management, has merged with Natural Balance, a pet food brand.
Natural Balance offers products with protein-focused ingredients spanning dog food, cat food and treats. The combined company’s offerings will include Canidae’s Pure, Goodness and All Life Stages, as well as Natural Balance’s Limited Ingredient and Original Ultra product lines. As part of the deal, L Catterton and Nexus Capital Management are investing new growth capital to support the integration and expansion of the combined company.
