Papaya Global, a provider of global workforce management services, has acquired remote work connectivity platform, NickNack. The purchase enhances Papaya’s technology services for hypergrowth companies with challenges in the onboarding of employees in remote locations.

The purchase follows the closing of Papaya’s $250 million series D funding round in September which brings its valuation to $3.7 billion. This represents a tenfold increase over September 2020.

“Today’s post-pandemic, hybrid-work world has different challenges than it did just two years earlier,” said Eynat Guez, Papaya CEO and co-founder. “The NickNack solution has proven effective in helping remote teams recreate the chemistry and culture that existed when work was done out of one central office.”

“Papaya is setting the standard for how the global workforce will be managed for years to come,” said NickNack’s CEO Inbal Shenfeld Kolodziejska. “We couldn’t think of a better company to advance the NickNack vision.”
