OptConnect, a provider of managed wireless services, has acquired Premier Wireless Solutions, a Silicon Valley-based IoT network services provider.
PWS is a IoT services provider serving the M2M market and executes all aspects of IoT network deployments. The firm operates in a variety of IoT verticals including digital signage, utilities, asset tracking and more.
The deal will allow the complementary organizations to add strategic capabilities, product lines and service opportunities. The two firms intend on providing a full range of hardware and connectivity-as-a-service options to supports its business customers’ needs.
