O2 Investment Partners, a Midwest-based private equity firm investing in growth-oriented, privately-held businesses in the North American lower-middle-market, has closed its O2 Investment Partners Fund IV with $445 million in capital commitments.

Founded in 2010, O2 uses its family office roots to partner with the entrepreneurial management teams of family- and founder-owned businesses that look to be positioned for long-term growth.

“Our approach to ‘honoring the entrepreneur’ is well-positioned as we guide growth-oriented companies through a rapidly shifting market environment,” states Luke Plumpton, managing partner.

Metric Point Capital served as advisor for the fundraise. Kirkland & Ellis provided legal counsel.
