NortonLifeLock (Nasdaq: NLOK) is buying cybersecurity company Avira from Investcorp for $360 million. The deal will expand NortonLifeLock’s global reach while growing its freemium services.

Germany-based Avira offers software security services, including anti-malware and threat intelligence to protect users’ online identity, finances and private data.
