HomeTown Ticketing Inc., a digital ticketing provider for schools, districts, conferences and associations and a portfolio company of Nexa Equity, has bought Ticket Spicket, a Virginia-based digital ticketing service focused on the K-12 market.

With the adoption of virtual ticketing and payment services, the companies hope that athletic directors and school administrators are able to manage, promote, staff and execute events and extracurricular activities more efficiently with the automation and time-saving processes. The combined company will serve approximately 300,000 events annually. The acquisition expands HomeTown’s capabilities and geographic presence in the U.S. Ticket Spicket is HomeTown’s first acquisition since Nexa Equity invested in the company in early 2022.

“The acquisition brings together the two fastest-growing leaders in the virtual ticketing space under one roof and translates to immediate value for our customers as a result of an even more robust and feature-rich platform,” comments Ryan Hart, chairman of HomeTown Ticketing.
