Monroe Capital LLC, a boutique asset management firm, has hired Brian Dutzar as director and based in Chicago, Mark Friedrich as managing director and based in Los Angeles and Brian Lee as director and based in New York. These hires were made as an expansion of Monroe’s institutional and high-net-worth business development team.

Prior to Monroe, Dutzar was an executive director at Perella Weinberg Partners, where he led business development efforts with financial intermediaries. Dutzar has over 20 years of experience in business development and consulting with investment products for high-net-worth clients and financial intermediaries.

Friedrich previously worked as a sales executive with Western Asset Management Co. where he was focused on institutional relationships in the western U.S. Friedrich has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry.

Lee was a regional director at Ashmore Group prior to Monroe, where he was responsible for business development within the intermediary channel in the eastern U.S. region. Lee has over 14 years of experience in financial services, working in asset management and wealth management.
