Mirion Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: MIR), offering detection, measurement, analysis and monitoring services to medical, nuclear, defense and research end markets, has acquired Computerized Imaging Reference Systems, Inc. CIRS is a provider of medical imaging and radiation therapy phantoms serving the medical industry.

The firm focuses on design, development and commercialization of tissue equivalent medical imaging and radiation therapy phantoms. Headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, CIRS serves a diverse customer base of medical imaging and radiation therapy OEMS and clinicians.

Mirion will integrate CIRS into its medical segment and hopes to improve its margins through synergies over time.
