Micross Components, a portfolio company of Behrman Capital, has purchased the High-Reliability Discrete Diodes and Assemblies business of Semtech Corp., a supplier of semiconductors and advanced algorithms.

Micross is a provider of microelectronic components and services for high-reliability markets. Micross possesses the sourcing, packaging, assembly, engineering and logistics expertise to support applications throughout their entire program life cycles. The transaction expands and differentiates Micross’ high-reliability product manufacturing capabilities. Semtech Corp. is a supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors and advanced algorithms for infrastructure, consumer and industrial equipment.

Behrman Capital invests in management buyouts, leveraged buildups and recapitalizations of businesses, and has raised $4.0 billion and is investing out of its sixth fund.
