SEPIA (Solution for Epicardial Ablation), the epicardial ablation technology created by Nido Surgical, was acquired by an undisclosed medical company. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Nido created SEPIA for electrophysiologists to provide safer epicardial procedures for patients with heart conditions. Under the agreement, the new owner of SEPIA will help streamline the development of the device. Nido is backed by Broadview Ventures.
