MBF Healthcare Partners II LP, a middle-market private equity firm focused on healthcare, has purchased Austin Connect to Wellness LLC (doing business as ABA Connect), a provider of behavior analysis therapy to children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.

ABA Connect, based in Texas, was founded in 2013 by Kirsten Brooks. The company uses evidence-based principles to help improve the quality of life for children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder. Since its founding, the company has expanded its service offerings to six facilities across the Austin and Houston metro areas.

“This partnership allows us to continue investing in our incredible staff and our systems while facilitating ABA Connect’s ability to expand throughout Texas and to other states,” comments Brooks and Tim Plachta, ABA Connect’s leadership team.
