Manhattan West, a Los Angeles-based strategic investment firm, has promoted Jim McCoy to chief operating officer and Vik Sasi to chief strategy officer.

McCoy will work to build out Manhattan West’s alternative asset management distribution strategies while continuing the expansion of its services and investments. McCoy brings approximately two decades of financial services experience, having served as COO at several alternative investment firms following senior-level roles at J.P. Morgan and Bear Stearns.

In Sasi’s new role, he will develop and implement strategic plans to build toward a technology-enabled future for Manhattan West’s private wealth and alternative investments platform. He’ll also work closely with McCoy on growth initiatives. Sasi joined the firm in July 2021 after several years in early-stage venture capital at firms including Dreamers VC, AmFam Ventures and Healthbox. Previously, he served as a strategic advisor to the Ministry of Health in Haiti, starting as an analyst with the Clinton Foundation.
