Main Street Capital has made a $31.1 million follow-up investment in its existing portfolio company, SI East.
The investment will support the firm’s purchase of Chicago Steel Container Corp., an independent new steel drum manufacturer. Additionally, the investment will support SI East’s ongoing growth activities.
SI East produces a range of products including tight head, open head, interior lined, high and low-density polyethylene plastic liners and unlined drums.
