LongRange Capital, a private investment firm focused on building and growing middle-market businesses, has acquired Batesville Services, an after-life care products and services company, from Hillenbrand Inc.
Batesville Services is headquartered in Batesville, Ind. and offers a suite of burial and cremation products, keepsakes and technology services to support licensed funeral professionals and families across North America. Chris Trainor will continue to lead Batesville as CEO, having served as its president since 2015.
