Leeds Illuminate Advisors LP, a New York and North Carolina-based private equity firm focused on the education and workforce development sectors, has hired Laura Pinnie Joye as a managing director on its investment team.

Pinnie Joye joins Leeds Illuminate with 13 years of investing experience, predominantly focused on the future of education and work. Most recently, Pinnie Joye was a director at ZOMA Capital where she focused on investing in a range of sustainable services towards addressing environmental and social problems. Prior to ZOMA, Pinnie Joye began her career at JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) in both credit and sustainable finance roles.
