L Catterton, a global consumer-focused investment firm, has made an investment in Urban Egg, a Colorado-based restaurant concept.
Founded in 2012 by Randy Price and Liz Price, Urban Egg offers breakfast, brunch and lunch. Since originally opening its doors in downtown Colorado Springs, Urban Egg has grown its footprint across Colorado with eight locations operating throughout Colorado Springs, Denver, Fort Collins and Johnstown and other expansions into Overland Park, Kan. The investment looks to help Urban Egg continue its growth and expansion in existing and new markets.
