KKR, a global investment firm, has purchased Barracuda Networks, a provider of cloud-first security services, from software investment firm Thoma Bravo.

Barracuda provides a portfolio of cybersecurity services including e-mail protection, application security, network security, and data protection, that are all deployed and managed across cloud and hybrid environments. The firm delivers its services to medium-sized firms with over 200,000 clients in education, government, financial services, healthcare, retail, consumer goods, and manufacturing industries.
