Novvia Group, a rigid container and life sciences packaging distributor and a portfolio company of Kelso & Co., has purchased the packaging distribution division of JF Shelton, from Ravago Chemicals.
JF Shelton Packaging Distribution is a Washington-based distributor of bottles, drums, intermediate bulk containers and other rigid packaging services. The company operates out of facilities in Kent, Wash. and Portland, Ore. and has supplied rigid packaging products to the west coast for over 35 years. The division looks to further Novvia’s presence on the west coast and will be combined with Rhino Container, Novia’s Chino, Calif.-based rigid packaging subsidiary.
