KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., a corporate and investment banking arm of Cleveland-based KeyCorp, has hired Jaryd Banach as a managing director and leader of its real estate investment trusts (REIT) equity capital markets team.
Banach is based in the firm’s New York City office and brings over 15 years of investment banking, trading and capital markets experience. For the last decade, Banach has focused on capital formation transactions for REITs, most recently at Goldman Sachs and previously at BMO Capital Markets. He has been involved in more than 120 REIT financing transactions, raising over $60 billion in aggregate proceeds. Banach began his investment banking career at Cowen & Co.
