KeyBanc Capital Markets, a corporate and investment banking arm of Cleveland-based KeyCorp, has added Andrew Burnham to its food and beverage investment banking team as a director and Thomas Bajus as managing director and head of fixed-income trading.
Burnham will provide coverage for the food and beverage sector, focusing on existing client and prospect relationships, as well as partnering with other bankers to expand the firm’s advisory, financing and services work across the food sector nationally. Previously, he was a director with RBC Capital Markets in the consumer and retail group where he led advisory and financing deal origination and execution in the food and beverage, food distribution and other adjacent sectors. He started his banking career with KBCM as an analyst with the leveraged finance debt capital markets team.
Bajus will oversee all aspects of KBCM’s fixed-income trading personnel. Previously, Bajus served as head of fixed income capital markets at Janney Montgomery Scott. He also served as head of fixed-income trading and municipal trading at Janney. He began his career at First Albany Corp.
“Andrew brings a deep knowledge of the industry and an understanding of market nuances which will serve our clients well,” says Brad Swanson, head of KBCM’s consumer and retail group. “We look forward to Andrew’s contributions as we continue to grow our business in the consumer sector.”
“Tom brings deep expertise in structured products and municipals, a key area of growth for the firm,” comments Brian Brennan, national head of fixed income and derivatives. “He also brings strong relationships with the dealer and investor communities, and I look forward to his contributions.”
