Jasper Ridge Partners, a firm providing investment services for families, foundations and global institutions, has added Greg Ruiz as a partner in its private equity practice.
Ruiz will help lead the team’s investment talent and contribute to the expansion of its co-investment and direct private equity capabilities. He comes to Jasper Ridge from the California Public Employees’ Retirement System, the nation’s largest pension fund, where he led the private equity program focused on private equity investments in a range of strategies and geographies. Prior to that, he worked at Altamont Capital Partners, where he was a principal leading direct private equity investments, and previously worked at FFL Partners, as well.
