IBM, a provider of hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence, has purchased Octo, a technology firm focused on the government sector, from Arlington Capital Partners.

Octo is headquartered in Reston, Va. and is a digital modernization services provider to the federal government. The firm offers artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, blockchain, cloud, open source and data science services, among others.
