Hilco Digital Assets, a Hilco Global company and an acquirer and monetizer of digital assets, has made a strategic investment in Squadhelp.com, a business that combines AI, crowdsourcing and gamification to provide branding services to companies.
Squadhelp offers branding services including naming contests, audience testing and a brandable domain marketplace that includes a collection of brandable domain names for sale. With this investment, Squadhelp looks to drive its position in the branding and domain name industry by expanding its team and scaling its technology and marketing investments. The two companies have also entered into a joint venture to launch a marketplace for premium domains. Andrew Miller, managing director of Hilco Digital Assets, will join the Squadhelp board of directors.
“Our partnership with Hilco Digital Assets is a major milestone in our goal to become world’s number one branding destination,” comments Darpan Munjal, founder & CEO of Squadhelp.com. “This investment will allow us to accelerate our growth and introduce new disruptive capabilities at an even more rapid pace.”
