HCI Equity Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm, has promoted Lisa Costello to chief administrative officer and managing director and Amy Stremmel to the chief financial officer.

Costello first joined the firm in 2004 and will lead the firm’s administrative and compliance operations. Before her time as CAO, Costello served as the firm’s CFO for over a decade and as a member of the board of directors.

Stremmel joined the firm in 2005 and serves a central role with the finance team where she manages accounting functions and assists with SEC compliance and partnership reporting. In her new role, Stremmel will be an advisor for the firm’s funds for transaction and tax issues and will lead the firm’s partnership with Gen II Fund Services.

“These promotions recognize Lisa and Amy’s significant and evolving contributions to the success of HCI,” said Doug McCormick, managing partner at HCI. “Each of these individuals embody our team’s ethos and commitment to a “people-first” culture. We are thrilled to recognize their immense contributions, hard work and achievements during their long tenures with the firm.”
