AmerCareRoyal, a supplier of disposable food service supplies, gloves and take-out packaging and backed by HCI Equity Partners, has purchased Team Three Group, a provider of disposables for the food service and janitorial industries.
The company, based in St. Louis, Mo., offers product categories including towels, napkins and tissues, gloves, cutlery, take-out packaging and cups. Team Three also provides sourcing and shipping options, which combined with ACR’s footprint of direct container service, looks to create an improved fulfillment model for customers. The deal also adds new product categories, geographic expansion through new distribution centers in the midwest and California and provides cross-selling and purchasing synergies. Team Three is ACR’s eighth add-on acquisition since HCI’s initial investment.
