True Environmental, a company focused on partnering with founder and employee-owned environmental consulting and engineering firms and backed by Halle Capital, has hired Neal Weitman and Dean Harwood as chief operating officer and chief financial officer, respectively.

Weitman brings 30 years of experience spanning projects across the transportation, infrastructure, water and environmental end markets for government agencies and private clients. Weitman has held leadership roles with WSP, a professional services firm, and predecessor companies. He also worked closely with Jim Stamatis, CEO of True, for more than 20 years while at Louis Berger, prior to the company’s sale to WSP. Earlier in his career, he was president and CEO of Berger, Lehman Associates.

Harwood brings over two decades of experience across the environmental consulting and engineering industry to True. He joins from Environmental Consulting and Technology Inc., where he served as chief financial officer and a member of the company’s board of directors. Prior to ECT, he served as president of strategy and development for the U.S. western region at Wood Plc. Before that, Harwood spent 16 years in various senior roles at Parsons Corp., including business unit chief financial officer and eventually executive vice president of operations and president of Parsons Enterprises.

“I am confident they will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to True as we continue to build our platform and seek to deliver best-in-class solutions to help solve clients’ complex environmental, infrastructure, and energy challenges,” comments Stamatis.
