Forester Capital, an alternative investment firm, has added to its business development team with the addition of Julia Peter-Kerr and Jim McKenna as managing directors.

Peter-Kerr joins the firm following her time as a managing director with New Age Alpha. In her time with NAA, Peter-Kerr was responsible for institutional sales. Additionally, she co-founded Quotient Investors, a quantitative equity firm, where she served as a managing partner and head of sales and client services.

McKenna joins the firm from Camden Asset Management where he was the director of investment services. While at Camden, McKenna was tasked with institutional fundraising. Before his time with Camden, McKenna served as a managing director and head of North America business development with InfraHedge.

“Over the years, Forester has developed a differentiated offering and Julia and Jim will help us connect with more like-minded investors,” said Trent Carmichael, founder and managing principal. “They’re focused on introducing Forester to new partners and working collaboratively with them to develop investment programs tailored to their unique objectives. Their client focus and entrepreneurial spirit align seamlessly with our goals and those of our investors.”
