Entrepreneurial Equity Partners, a private equity firm, and Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala Capital have acquired Mercer Foods, a portfolio company of Graham Partners. Based out of Modesto, California, Mercer is an provider of freeze-dried ingredient innovation and serves a variety of blue-chip foodservice operators, food manufacturers and retailers.
Entrepreneurial Equity Partners, or e2p, is a middle-market private equity firm based in Chicago focused on control-oriented investments in the food and consumer packaged goods industries, while Mubadala Capital is a wholly owned asset management subsidiary of Mubadala Investment Company in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Mubadala Capital manages approximately $9 billion in third-party capital vehicles on behalf of institutional investors.
