Elridge has agreed to acquire data technology company Knoema. The deal also sees Snowflake Ventures making an investment in the target.
The partnership with cloud technology company Snowflake combines Knoema’s data sets with Snowflake’s data cloud. “We are excited to partner with Knoema, accelerating the growth of the Data Cloud and bringing a wealth of open data sets to our customers,” says Snowflake Ventures head Stefan Williams.
Elridge focuses on growing businesses in the insurance, credit, technology, real estate, media, and consumer sectors. “Knoema’s rapid time to market and depth of content complements and enhances an organization’s in-house data infrastructure, and we are super excited to see the value that it can unleash for its clients as we move forward.” says Elridge operating partner Michele Trogni.
