Houwzer, a U.S.-based real estate brokerage backed by Edison Partners, has bought Trelora, a real estate brokerage out of Denver, Colo.

Both Houwzer and Trelora boast “flat-fee” real estate offerings, looking to help consumers save money on transactions and focusing on customer experience. The combined companies have saved consumers approximately $125 million in cumulative real estate commissions. The deal expands Houwzer’s footprint to 14 states and access to markets in four of the five regions throughout the country.

“Houwzer now has a platform at scale, allowing it to further transform the home buying and selling experience and make it easier and more affordable for consumers across a much wider audience,” states Daniel Herscovici, partner at Edison Partners and board member at Houwzer.
