Fishbowl Inventory, a provider of enterprise resource planning software for small- to mid- and mid- to enterprise-sized businesses and a portfolio company of Diversis Capital, has bought Sellware, an e-commerce company for small- to mid-sized businesses.

Founded in 2004, Sellware provides inventory management and order management systems, paired with a marketplace listing service, working to help clients grow revenue at scale and help with day-to-day operations across e-commerce shopping carts, marketplaces and ERP systems. Sellware is headquartered in Cary, N.C.

“The acquisition of Sellware will enable Fishbowl to promptly address the e-commerce needs of our current customers and swiftly expand into new markets for future growth,” states Peter Osberg, CEO of Fishbowl. “Furthermore, the acquisition will bring in a team of experts that will enhance the overall Fishbowl product organization. We are already working on integrating Sellware into our products for manufacturing and warehousing customers.”
