Desktop Metal, Inc. (NYSE: DIM) has completed its purchase of The ExOne Company (NASDAW: XONE).

The purchase will reinforce Desktop’s additive manufacturing for mass production business. ExOne plans to extend the Desktop product platform through the integration of its complementary service offerings.

Desktop will support ExOne’s existing customers and will leverage its distribution network with ExOne’s sales force to provide customers to broader access to its AM 2.0 Services and materials portfolio.

The terms of the deal included a total purchase price of $24.93 per share fora transaction value of $561.3 million.
