Craftsman Capital, a Dallas-based private equity firm, has bought MSB School Services, a special education software company for educators in K-12.
The school districts that MSB serves use the company’s X-Logs software to document, track and log special education sessions for reporting and billing. MSB employs consultants that work with school districts to tailor the software to school district program goals. Craftsman Capital will be working with the MSB team to evaluate opportunities to leverage the private equity firm’s expertise and strategic relationships.
“Craftsman Capital brings additional resources and capabilities to MSB that will help propel us to the next level,” says Tabbatha Callaway, MSB School Services CEO.
Winston & Strawn represented Craftsman Capital in the transaction.
