ConnectiveRx, a provider of software-enabled patient support and access services for medications, has acquired Rx Savings Assistant from Medicom Digital.

The Rx Savings software finds prescription savings offers and embeds them into qualifying patient records. This allows healthcare providers to find the offers in their electronic health records and deliver them directly to patients.

The deal will integrate Rx Savings into ConnectiveRx’s EHR network, which already supports 720,000 healthcare providers and patients. The acquisition continues Connective’s EHR network expansion.

“To date, ConnectiveRx has built a powerful network allowing prescribers to connect patients with prescription savings offers that often make it possible to start critical medications,” noted Medicom Digital CEO and co-founder Barb Goergen. “Rx Savings Assistant is a strong fit for the ConnectiveRx portfolio and under their stewardship will expand to benefit an ever-increasing number of patients.”
