Commonfund Capital has closed its inaugural environmental sustainability fund at $233 million. Commonfund Capital Environmental Sustainability Partners 2020, L.P. has support from foundations, endowments, family officer pensions, registered investment advisors and consultants.

The private equity investment partnership will invest in companies, operating platforms, and specialist manager funds in a range of environmental sustainability sectors including food, agriculture and water, and resource efficiency. The fund is Commonfund’s first dedicated environmental sustainability fund, building on a history of sustainability investments across its programs.
