Cohen & Company, a tax and accounting firm offering assurance, tax and advisory services to clients throughout the U.S. and globally, has purchased BBD‘s Investment Management Group, a provider of audit and tax services for registered and unregistered investment companies across the U.S.
With the combination, the group will have 300 industry professionals and the deal will expand Cohen & Co.’s footprint to the Philadelphia market. The deal aims to improve Cohen & Co.’s position as a provider of assurance and tax services for the investment industry by promoting efficiencies and offering talent, depth of services and technology across the organization. All seven of BBD-IMG’s partners will join Cohen & Co., including their managing partner, Jim Kaiser.
