Discovery Education, a global education technology firm and portfolio company of Clearlake Capital Group LP, has acquired Pivot Interactive SBC.
Pivot develops dynamic cloud-based activities and labs to engage students in scientific exploration. The deal serves to support Discovery’s mission to create an innovative classroom and will complement Discovery’s additional digital services for science education. It is the second acquisition in the month of August after Discovery’s purchase of DoodleLearning.
