Centric Brands LLC and WHP Global have partnered to purchase Joe’s Jeans brand. Going forward, WHP Global will own the worldwide intellectual property in all global territories other than China while Centric will operate Joe’s Jeans under a long-term exclusive license for their core categories and geographies through retail, wholesale and e-commerce channels.

Joe’s Jeans was founded in 2001, producing denim with an emphasis on incorporating technology into design. The company offers its denim, apparel and accessories to men, women and children at premium department stores, specialty boutiques, 10 Joe’s Jeans stores and its digital flagship website.

Centric Brands is a global lifestyle brand collective with over 100 owned and licensed brands. WHP Global is a leading brand acquisition and management firm backed by Oaktree Capital Management. Additional brands in the WHP portfolio include William Rast, Toys“R”Us, Babies “R”Us, Anne Klein, Joseph Abboud, and Lotto.
