Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a private investment firm with offices in New York and London, has appointed Harsh Agarwal, Romain Dutartre and Rob Volpe to partner.

Agarwal joined CD&R in 2020 and has worked to develop the firm’s technology platform and driving CD&R’s focus on enterprise software. Prior to joining CD&R, he spent over 10 years in senior technology investing roles.

Dutartre joined the firm in 2019 and focuses on European transactions in the industrial and business services sectors. His recent CD&R transaction experience includes investments in Atalian/OCS, Inizio, Sharp, SIG, and Socotec. He has spent the majority of his careeer evaluating private investment opportunities after starting as a management consultant at Bain & Co.

Volpe joined CD&R in 2008 and has experience in the industrial vertical, with a focus on evaluating investment opportunities and expanding CD&R’s footprint in businesses within the packaging, aerospace, transportation and industrial technology sectors. He has played a role in the firm’s investments in Cheney Brothers, Multi-Color Corp., SiteOne Landscape Supply, U.S. Foods and Whitcraft Group.
