Maverick Aviation Partnership LP, an investment vehicle managed by Carlyle Aviation Partners has acquired AMCK Aviation‘s portfolio of aircraft. The total value of the fleet is over $4 billion. Milbank LLP advised Maverick and Carlyle on the sale.

The firm will acquire 125 aircraft and an order book of 20 A320/321 neo aircraft. AMCK is a global aircraft leasing company and is owned by CK Asset Holdings Ltd. and Li Ka Shing Foundation.

Carlyle is a multi-strategy aviation investment manager seeking to capitalize on its technical knowledge, industry expertise and presence in the aviation sector. The firm has a total of $8.3 billion in total assets under management and owns, manages, or is committed to purchase 311 aircraft across 56 countries.
