CMT Engineering Laboratories, a consulting engineering, construction engineering management, highway and structural inspections, testing, and analytical laboratory services company backed by CAI Capital Partners, has bought Cesare Inc., a Colorado-based consulting engineering firm.
Cesare focuses on construction material testing and inspection, geotechnical engineering services and forensic engineering and testimony services. According to CAI, Cesare is a strong cultural fit with CMT and provides similar service offerings. The partnership looks to geographically expand CMT into Colorado with the addition of four offices and approximately 50 personnel. CMT will also provide Cesare with additional resources and infrastructure to serve its customer base.
