Brighton Park Capital, a growth equity firm that focuses on partnering with software, healthcare, and tech-enabled services businesses, has led a $40 million strategic growth investment in DataVisor, a U.S.-based online fraud detection and risk management software for financial services and digital commerce.

DataVisor’s fraud and risk service uses both business-specific rules and machine-learning models to help users identify fraudulent patterns and areas of vulnerability. The new capital aims to drive DataVisor’s global strategy and expansion at scale. Existing investors NewView Capital and GSR Ventures also participated in the investment.

“Now is the right time to further scale our platform through a strong go-to market strategy, which is why we are thrilled to be partnering with Brighton Park,” comments Yinglian Xie, co-founder of DataVisor. “Their team of investment professionals not only has significant expertise in enterprise SaaS and fintech, but also broad industry connections and deep experience executing B2B and go-to-market strategies.”
