AFC Industries, a portfolio company of Bertram Capital, has purchased Motor City Industrial, a distributor of fasteners and other consumable industrial products, from Kian Capital Partners and Oakland Standard.
Motor City has served as a supply chain partner to its customers for over 50 years. The company’s assortment of SKUs and sales team with application experience looks to enable the company to solve the procurement issues of its customers. Additionally, Motor City has developed a proprietary suite of technology, helping customers in containing costs through process mapping and consumption reports.
