Barrier Companies, a fire and life safety business and portfolio company of Lincolnshire Management, has purchased Prevent, a west coast fire and life safety company. Prevent serves customers in healthcare settings across California, Texas and Arizona and will operate as its own brand alongside Barrier.
Prevent concentrates on fire barrier management and fire code compliance. The firm additionally developed The Solution, a line of mobile HEPA containment units used to prevent the spread of dust and particles from entering spaces during construction or maintenance work.
