Baird Global Investment Banking, an international financial services firm, has added Alexander Mejia and Jeremy Duksin as managing directors and co-heads of its global general partnership solutions group and will be based in New York City.

Mejia joins Baird from Goldman Sachs where he was a managing director and head of Goldman’s secondary market advisory team. He has over 20 years of investment banking experience, primarily advising financial sponsor clients on single and multi-asset continuation funds, tender offers, equity strip sales and other GP-initiated transaction structures. Before Goldman Sachs, Mejia was a managing director at Lazard Freres & Co. in the private capital advisory business where he focused on general partner-initiated transactions.

Duksin will join Baird from Credit Suisse where he was a managing director and global head of capital solutions, an area within the firm’s private fund group. Prior to Credit Suisse, Duksin spent several years with Lehman Brothers working in the firm’s investment banking, investment management and principal investing divisions.

“We are thrilled that Alex and Jeremy have decided to join our Global Investment Banking team,” says Brian Doyal, co-head of investment banking at Baird. “They bring extensive GP secondary market expertise and transaction experience to our platform and will allow us to deliver best-in-class GP advisory solutions to our private equity clients.”
