Avista Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm focused on healthcare, has acquired Spear Education, a provider of digital and in-person clinical training, practice analytics and consulting services for the dental market.
Headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., Spear offers over 5,000 on-demand videos, over 300 hands-on workshops annually and over 100 study club modules. Spear’s services aim to help dentists expand their acuity skills and drive revenue streams to provide a high return on interest to dental practices and practitioners.
